After the kernel upgrade, the backup task failed with exit code -312

Details

If the backup task fails with exit code -312 after a kernel upgrade, check whether the following log is recorded.

/var/lib/dkms/dattobd/<driver version>/build/make.log

If this log appears, the driver build failed and the driver does not support the upgraded kernel. Before upgrading the kernel, check the system requirements to ensure compatibility. 

Workaround

 1) If the latest version of AIP Linux supports the kernel (OS version):
     - Upgrade AIP Linux to the latest version.

2) If the latest version of AIP Linux does not support the kernel (OS version):
    - Boot the system using the previous kernel, remove the upgraded kernel, and then reinstall the driver.

Please use the following operating procedures in order:
 [7] Uninstall datto driver
 [5] Install datto driver
