ImageCenter and Actiphy ImageCenter (with StorageServer)

Details

Actiphy ImageCenter (with StorageServer) (“AIC”) combines Actiphy StorageServer and ImageCenter.

When using backup files created with older versions of ActiveImage Protector, some ImageCenter features may not function correctly. As there is no fix for this limitation, please follow the guidelines below:

ActiveImage Protector 2018 or earlier
→ Use a previous version of ImageCenter.

ActiveImage Protector 2022 or later
→ Use Actiphy ImageCenter (with StorageServer).

For ActiveImage Protector 2022 Version 7.5.3.9722 (Patch Version 25.7.15.1) or earlier, the latest previous version of ImageCenter is supported.

Note:
When using an AIC bucket as the backup destination, select Actiphy ImageCenter in the [Select Folder] window, enter the IP Address and Port, and then select the created bucket.
The task will run normally only when configured as described above. 



When upgrading to ActiveImage Protector 2022 Version 7.0.0.8643 or later, a StorageServer bucket can be specified as the backup image destination.
If a shared folder is specified using AIC, there are no version restrictions for ActiveImage Protector 2022.

Note 2:
Both ImageCenter (earlier version) and Actiphy ImageCenter (with StorageServer) can be installed on the same host. However, for each backup source host, manage backup images using only one product — either ImageCenter or Actiphy ImageCenter, not both.
